Let's face it. Compared to the fans.I'm boring. You guys are always doing awesome stuff and showing us what it's like to be inspiring and move beyond the mediocre.
I always love the little videos, notes, pictures, and whatever else you send, but I have a habit of not sharing them in passing.Correction , had.
With that out of the way.. it's way more fun to talk about you guys than shirts and design-ey stuffs like every other streetwear blog this world over.
So, here's Erik Bowman giving some real rap on Lunchables. He's wearing the Morpholio, which is awesome, but Power Rangers Beavis and Butthead style on a couch isn't as awesome without being able to laugh.
Erik always reps us and has been down since forever(he even has a little Hungry Human logo on his avatar shirt), so we had to rep him back.
If you like his comedy, you can follow his Facebook fan page Erik B Comedy , or check the Youtube page for additional vids.

Blogs are tough.
You're basically sharing your most intimate thoughts as a person and/or business for the world to scrutinize and also hoping not to shoot yourself in the foot anymore often than one can for "keeping it real".Nerve wracking stuff I tell you what.
There's been an abundance of posts about games, and "me" stuff between here and Instagram,so let's talk about something I've been responding to all day.You guessed it: shirts.
Shirts from the last release are in production and on their way. There was a slight descrepancy between the shops and the fans that ultimately got settled via fan vote (more details on that later). And now that everything is tip top, I'M PRETTY FRIGGIN' EXCITED!!!!
Despite a few days delay, these are the first shirts that haven't been rushed in a long while...
With some of the event invites being super last minute, we'd kind of rush whatever we could get out with 2 days notice and fly, drive,or run to whatever event.
You basically grab a Redbull Slurpee, whatever design you can print or get printed in the alotted time and then run out the door to your [semi] scheduled destination and don't look back till it ends.
It's kind of fun the first few times, but it can wear you the heck out compared to having an extra few days to do things how you see fit...(Scooby Snacks, sleep,Power Rangers Movie Soundtrack,etc.).
Believe it or not, my favorite part of doing anything at HH is the preorders.I love packing your guys stuff and also thinking about how someone will react to the contents and the life the shirt is going to lead thereafter.
It will be nice to see how people react when they are finally able to see the print on the Dente and HAP2 (Humans Are People Too) designs. They're crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyy in person. Trust me.
Earlier this month,I had a dilemma about the direction of HH for a bit that is more YouTube-able than blog friendly and with it resolved...this series of late summer drops and the "coming soon" stuff after should be the greatest thing since Fluff in a peanut butter sandwich (Fluffernutter is what the cool kids and hipsters call it).
This all seems a bit random, but once you get an idea of what we're rocking with...we should be on the same page.
You don't wanna miss out.Trust me.

This is on repeat forever. One of the hurdles in running HH is it's not really super corporate or "industry" as some coin the term.
It's less of a "here's my business card" brand , and more of a "lemme make some dope gear to make the homies feel good" vibe over here.
That mindset can lead to conflict, tension, and just ridiculous moments that are both funny, and somewhat distracting. So, I thought I'd throw up the official theme song for all that ratchetness.
Shoutouts to the Bay Area's Antwon for always holding it down too.Cool dude with an amzing amount of talent that is only building up (hope LA is treating you good as well).

Found this video of people doing Rival Schools combos. No idea why, but this is the funniest thing ever today.I worked at a Gamestop in my early teens on and off for almost 5 years , and the one thing that resonates so much for me is that despite how dated this game seemed for the time, it was actually a super-rare cutting-edge game at some point.Seriously.
Looking at it now, I can't help but giggle a little bit at it. It's probably what some of you thought when you saw some of the first HH stuff I bet (extra giggles)!
I snagged it from a site or little forum called /r/Kappa, it's essentially a reddit thread for fighting game players that is my little vice for reading.
I don't go on it quite as often as before due to being busy. But , I still like to check them out when I can. Even if it's only for a little bit.
Super random. But kinda funny still. If anything, make sure to "enjoy the wonk" when you're watching this. -h_h-

I wrote a blog post and accidentally pressed back while adding a picture.A piece of my brain told me to re-write it, then another part just said, "You can do that, but it'd be cooler if you just posted a picture of Kelvin and Brian there"...so I did that.
Hang tight for a different piece later. Doh!
Kelvin and Brian Jeon. My brothers. Thanks for supporting as always...

Someone went online with a Street Fighter 4 Ken Masters robot. It plays like my friend lilsicx from Sneakerheads of Sacramento. I'm dying. No particular deep thought in this post. It just happens to be hilarious. -h_h-

Wonkyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.... Ha!
It's been a few days, hope you guys have been bueno since our last post. We've been putting more work into the Instagram and remembering "what the heck to do" on there, so if you're curious as to what's been going on with HH and can't stand the wait between, hit there right away.
I've been catching peeps up on some of the work that goes into HH. I always glazed over stories if they were too melancholy or distracting, but some of you guys seem to like them, so I will keep posting them until someone tells me not to.That or the Shamrock Shake returns (I'll be busy that month)!
New preorders popped up in the shop. They're not as graphics driven as the usual HH fare as I wanted to make this release about the logos, message, and giving more back to all of you.
We released and named Dente, Humans Are People Too came about, and Self Sponsored has a few new colorways for those people that always sleep and ask "hey do you have that in ____?" loooonngg after it's gone. There's a small run of hoodies up for preorder as well.I know it's summer still, but with fall looming and other things on the horizon, it seemed like a nice gesture to throw the people that have always wanted a hoodie but never had the means or oppoortunity to get one a final bone.
Also, since I can't decide how the shop should look right now, I've just been popping up random gif's and pictures that change each day.It kind of makes things fun and less serious for the time, plus it gives me the excuse to put the White Ranger on a skateboard up for the world to see. Sounds like a win right?
WRTP into manual
Outside of that, it's been a grind remembering how to do things. The break kind of helped in the sense that I was able to straighten up some things and clear myself mentally, but the ripoff is you atrophy elsewhere, so little stuff like ordering envelopes or something trivial might be the most tedious thing as your processes aren't as gnarly as they used to be.
To my fighting game community friends, think of it as " I haven't practiced my combos for a while", to everyone else, I would say it's kind of like being out of shape after being pretty darn fit for a while, you may know how to get there, but it takes hard work and dedication to get back to where you used to be. It's getting there.
There have been a good string of kind words and support coming from the fans,so as always, thank you guys.I probably don't convey it well enough, but the majority of what we do is only possible because of you. It's kind of cool to get reacquainted with everyone again too. I like packing something or just remembering each individual. You all seem pretty excited, so that's something I hope to carry into this launch and beyond.
Anyways, that's the wrap up for us currently. I'm trying to ditch the super rambly blogs now and share more gradually. Now that it's something we can do and things have loosened up, it should be super fun to share and let you guys know more about the show that is HH.Ramble off. Thanks for being you as always... -h_h-

One of my fighting game buddies WeirdoNeo (Soonyoung)has been doing it big in Korea. Not only is he an amazingly energetic person off stage and in crowds at tournaments,it looks like he's just as good ON stage too with Superstar K5 !! This is a compilation of all his episodes and some of the outtakes as well, I don't usually get into Korean music shows, but this one was pretty good! -h_h-

If you've been reading the blog for the past year. You can tell a difference in attitude has taken over the brand.
I shared the origins of the logo on Instagram earlier this week and also about a personal battle dealing with emotional trauma from not taking very good care of myself early in the life of the brand.
The intent of Hungry Human is and was to inspire and unite. The designs all have an emphasis on storytelling and reflecting the spectrum of human emotion, struggle, hardship, and dedication or as we refer to, "hunger" so that the fans have something that is not only wearable but also supplies them with an energy in knowing "someone thought about this".
I used to fancy myself a strong businessman. In reality that is not the case, I am a good salesman. I believe in product and share that energy and enthusiasm with people while steadily guiding the brand.
My strongest shortcoming as an owner has been that I stray away from conflict. In other words, I don't like to fight.
When you are running a brand publicly, your persona becomes a part of that brand as well. I feel our ethos harbors more darkness than planned and the original goals have become marred with each interaction I took in trying to lead us towards growth.
I cater almost exclusively to a community that I grew up in. Because of this, I consider the individuals that we deal with in that capacity to be family.Or,at least that was the case.
Across the span of a year, I took time off to realize that many of the people I love so dearly were nothing more than constituents and acquaintances.
Upon realization of this, I lashed out and was all but overwhelmed by emotion and turmoil. They would steal our designs, emulate of brand, and threaten to not only ruin our reputation, but also bar us from events.
At some point, I came to realize this is the 'business' that people tout so highly and these costs of entry are but one of many that go alongside engaging in any type of operation or commerce.
I feel it's debilitating to the brand to explain every nuance, trial, or shortcoming we've had or 'play the victim' any longer. But I will say this, it has been tough.
My strongest desire thus far has been to create worthwhile product and share it with the people that inspired it naturally.
With time, I've come to realize that option is not available in certain instances and there will be times where we do have to fight, call people out, and handle some of the dirtier work that goes along with all of this to survive.
The pain in this stance lies in the fact that I love all of these people.
I am not better, more deserving,or more worthwhile than another human and neither are our creations comparitively. However, we have to defend our vision, purpose, and what we've built thus far.
So from here on out, anybody that wants to fight will get one. Not the kind of fight they expect, but the kind that persists even when time has long passed: the truth.
I can't lie, cover up, excuse,or belittle myself or what we do for the sake of appeasing people any longer.
I have little animosity, but I do harbor resentment that some things will never be the same in my eyes and I'm tired of it showing in the tweets, the interactions, and even personal dealings. It's not fair to us or the fans.
Our motto is try hard, never settle, stay hungry...and we want more. So, to reach that point, we will have to do and become more.
I've made some promises to many of you that can now be exercised and the closure that comes from these divulgances hopefully outweighs the distraction or hardship they afford others both now and the future.
And if so, maybe we can talk them out or come to a resolution, but if not that's fine too.In this regard,It's not personal, it's just business. -h_h-
